How will I know my child is safe?

Accepted Answer

All of our leaders have gone through a vendor that provides thorough background investigations for our church. When you arrive you will be given a label which has a number that matches the number given on your child’s sticker.
If there are any issues, we will display the number on the screens in the main sanctuary to reach you.

Question 2

Can "Big Brother" or "Big Sister" stay with my little one in their classroom?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We encourage our children to be in their own classroom, at their own age and grade. However, if this is very important to the parent and child accommodations can be made.

Question 3

What if my child has an allergy or medical condition.

Accepted Answer

To ensure your child has the best experience that they can possibly have each of our rooms have leaders that are trained and typically recognize parents after the second or third visit. If this is your first time you will be asked to fill out some information that is helpful to us. Please include any medical/allergy information on the form so that our leaders will be familiar with any conditions your child may have. We celebrate often what God is doing at Life Kidz! with snacks, games, and events and we want to make sure that everyone is included! If your child has a severe medical condition it may be helpful to email Laurie Kelley in order to make sure leaders are available to best accommodate your needs.

What Curriculum do you use for Children?

At LifeKidz, we believe children need more than just fun activities—they need a faith that will grow with them for life. That’s why we use the Brite Curriculum, a Gospel-centered curriculum designed to help children build a lasting relationship with Jesus through the three key areas of Belong, Believe, and Become. Belong Every child should feel loved, safe, and connected. Through caring leaders, engaging small groups, and welcoming environments, we want every child to know they belong to God and to our church family. Believe We are passionate about helping children understand the Bible and discover who Jesus is. Brite teaches the full story of Scripture in age-appropriate ways that help kids grow in Biblical understanding and develop a strong foundation of faith. Become Faith is more than learning Bible stories—it’s learning how to live like Jesus. Through practical application, discussion, worship, prayer, and real-life discipleship, children are encouraged to grow in kindness, courage, compassion, and Christlike character. Brite Curriculum is built on a “Resilient Child Discipleship” philosophy, helping children develop a faith that can stand strong in today’s changing world. Our desire is to partner with families to help kids know Jesus, love His Word, and confidently follow Him for the rest of their lives.

How can I serve?

We are always looking for dynamic leaders to serve with us at either the 9:15 or 11:00 am service. Being a leader in Children’s Ministry allows you to make an impact in a child’s life as you help them in their relationship with Christ.
